ANNO Terms of Use

Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the ANNO app and related services (the "Service") provided by Seunghwan Lee, an individual developer (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By installing the App or creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you got the App from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies; if the two conflict, the EULA prevails for the minimum terms Apple requires of developers, and these terms prevail for everything else.

3. Accounts

4. Subscription, free trial and payment

5. Refunds

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy and applicable law. Request refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple grants a refund, the related subscription access is removed from the Service. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights, such as withdrawal rights, that cannot be waived. For digital content, withdrawal rights may be limited once supply has begun, to the extent applicable law allows.

6. Your content

7. Recording other people

Meetings and conversations contain other people's voices and personal information. You are responsible for telling participants before recording and for obtaining any consent required by applicable law. This also applies when recording system audio on Mac. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for disputes and liability arising from failing to do so.

9. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

If we find such conduct, we may restrict use or suspend the account after notice (or with notice afterwards in urgent cases).

10. Changes, interruptions and termination of the Service

11. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for damages caused by force majeure, outages of third-party services (such as Apple, Google, Supabase or OpenAI), your device or network, or your own fault, provided we acted without intent or negligence. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the damage occurred. This cap does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under consumer protection law.

12. Changes to these terms

We will announce changes and their effective date in the App or on this page at least 7 days before they take effect. For any change unfavorable to you, we will give notice at least 30 days in advance and notify you individually in the App or by email to your account address. That notice will state clearly that if you do not object before the effective date, you will be deemed to accept the changes. If you do not object before the effective date after such notice, you are deemed to accept the changed terms. If you do not agree, you can object before the effective date and stop using the Service or delete your account.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Seoul Central District Court has jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes about the Service. Where applicable law gives consumers the right to bring a claim in another court, that right applies, and if the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you more favorable rights, those rights remain.

These terms are written in Korean; this English version is a translation. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails, except where mandatory law in your country requires otherwise.
